Mercedes-Benz brand to many represents luxury, wealth, and refinement. It started off as two different companies namely; Benz & Cie by Karl Benz and Daimler- Motoren-Gesellschaf  (DMG) established by Gottlieb Daimler. the Mercedes Car was manufactured by DMG in 1900 but did not see much success as prices became a problem for drivers after war broke out in Germany. in 1926 however, DMG and Benz & Cie now merged into Daimler-Benz.
